"Through CLE, I have received significant legal knowledge, and the practical aspect has been crucial to be well-prepared me for becoming a great lawyer in the future. I learned about drafting, client consultation, and formal negotiation and advocacy skills and these skills cannot be learned in a normal classroom. As a CLE student, it enables me to engage with the community since, for the first time in my life, I had the opportunity to share and educate people in rural areas about legal knowledge and issues. "Engaging in the ELBBL law clinic is my golden and first-hand opportunity to crystalize my practical and professional skills. During the PLS course, I have acquired the skills of communication with clients, ethical considerations in practice, research skills, and the capacity to apply legal knowledge to practical problems. Additionally, my team is given a chance to conduct a research paper on the topic of the Protection of Minor under Pre-trial Detention of Criminal Act. All in all, CLE allows me to practice my legal knowledge/skills in offering a legal education to the local community."
