Mr. TENG Chesda

Chesda has more than ten years of experience practicing law in Cambodia. He is currently managing the Arbitration Council Foundation’s Legal Services Department. He was a partner at SBC Law Office, practicing in the areas of private commercial transactions, with specialized knowledge and expertise in labor law and labor administration, institution building and restructuring, dispute resolution and prevention, contracts, and civil law. He was a senior consultant at DFDL, managing a labor sub-practice group, and was also an associate at Sok Xing & Hwang. Additionally, Mr. Chesda was a senior legal officer at the Arbitration Council Foundation, providing legal support to arbitrators of the Arbitration Council. Further, he was a Legal Ethics and Compliance Lead at Zuellig Cambodia and a Business Integrity Advocate at Sanofi (Cambodia), providing in-house legal and compliance support to all the business units and the general manager.

Chesda teaches Labor Law at the Royal University of Law and Economics, the English Language-Based Bachelor of Law Program (ELBBL). He holds a master’s degree from the University of Queensland, Australia, and a bachelor’s degree from the Royal University of Law and Economics, Cambodia. He is fluent in Khmer and English.
