Sophannarith obtained his Bachelor Degree of Law from RULE in 2009 and LLM from South Korea in 2011. Rith is Legal Manager at a company in Phnom Penh since 2017 where he assists with corporate in-house legal matters for the company. Before that, he spent almost 6 years working at a reputable law firm in Phnom Penh. He also takes keen interest in the field of torts where he provided lectures on torts in his capacity as adjunct lecturer at ELBBL at Royal University of Laws and Economic, first in 2015 and recently in 2022. He is also involved in various writing and research projects, including a publication of an article relating to the Cambodian Civil Code with the Bar Association of the Kingdom of Cambodia in 2019 and an ongoing research project with the RAOUL WALLENBERG INSTITUTE in Cambodia on certain aspects of human rights in the context of COVID-19 pandemic in Cambodia.
