Ms. ING Chandavya

Chandavya is an associate in the Tilleke & Gibbins Phnom Penh office. She advises intellectual property owners on a broad range of issues, including IP registration, IP commercialization, anti-counterfeiting strategies, and enforcement action. She has represented, including pro bono, a wide range of clients from the automotive, entertainment, fashion, food and beverage, and technology industries, among many others. She also deals with opposing parties and appears before the relevant authorities on behalf of clients during negotiations, opposition proceedings, mediation proceedings, and enforcement actions.

In addition to IP-related matters, Chandavya advises clients on regulatory affairs as well as telecommunications matters, tech-related matters, electronic commerce, and data privacy. With her valuable cross-practice expertise and insights, Chandavya guides companies of all sizes in protecting their business interests and achieving strategic gains in Cambodia.

Prior to rejoining Tilleke & Gibbins, Chandavya was a trademark and patent trainee at a market-leading firm in Germany, where she conducted research and prepared arguments in response to opposition before the European Union Intellectual Property Office.

Chandavya holds an LLM in Intellectual Property and Competition Law from the Munich Intellectual Property Law Center and earned her LLB from Cambodia’s Royal University of Law and Economics, where she now periodically provides lectures on intellectual property.

The Ministry of Commerce of Cambodia has recognized Chandavya as a trademark agent.
