About the Scholarship

The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade oversees the Australia Awards Scholarships, which are long-term grants.

Their objective is to support the development requirements of Australia’s partner nations in accordance with bilateral and regional agreements.

The program offers full-time undergraduate or postgraduate study opportunities at Australian universities and Technical and Further Education (TAFE) institutions for individuals from developing nations, with a special focus on those located in the Indo-Pacific area.

Australia Awards Scholarships offer study and research opportunities that enhance individuals’ skills and knowledge, enabling them to instigate change and make valuable contributions to development in their own nations.
