Internship

Practical experience is one of the three pillars in the ELBBL program. As such, ELBBL has the commitment to improve students’ capacity through instilling experiential learning education and giving back academic credit to students. ELBBL students intern at prestigious law firms, courts, organizations, and public institutions.

The Student Internship and Placement Program is a door to guide students to explore and prepare for their career in law, assisting them in comprehending and applying the law through the internship. Through our partnerships with law firms, public institutions, and international and local organizations, fourth-year students with good academic performance are eligible for credited internship placements. Students also get the opportunity to immerse themselves in the legal/professional area of their interest.

The duration of an internship for 6 credits is 3 months for full-time or 6 months for part-time; 3 credits is 3 months for part-time. Students can choose their internship placement based on their preferences and are subject to approval by the host institute.

Students who are not eligible or pass the prerequisite requirement for credited internship placement are still encouraged to apply for an internship on their own, although no credit will be given. ELBBL is supportive of our students’ endeavors and career development.
