Vichet is currently practicing as a notary public and co-founder of Mekong Notary Public of the Kingdom of Cambodia upon completion of notary training at the Royal School for Notary Profession of the Royal Academy for Judicial Professions, and part-time lecturer of law at the Royal University of Law and Economics (RULE) and part-time lecturer for notary students training at Royal Academy for Judicial Professions (RAJP).
Upon completion of the bachelor of law from Lumière Lyon 2 University relocated to Cambodia and the bachelor of law from RULE from 2001 to 2006, he pursued and completed the Master’s Degree in Private Law from the Lumière Lyon 2 University, France from 2006 to 2008 through the scholarship of Excellence Eiffel from France.
He was also trained as a notary public at the Royal School of Notary Profession under the Royal Academy for Judicial Professions and had conducted the notary internship at various public institutions of Cambodia, and at Jean Michel MATHIEU & Nicolas PONS Notary Office in Lyon City from 2013 to 2015, and was then nominated as a notary public by the Royal Government of Cambodia in 2016.
He worked as a Legal Consultant for a BNG law firm from 2008 to 2010, as a Case Manager for the Civil Party Lead Co-Lawyers of the Extraordinary Chambers in the Court of Cambodia from 2010 to 2013, and as a Legal Manager for CIMB Bank PLC from 2016 to 2019. Moreover, Mr. Vichet often provides law courses to students of law at RULE since 2009 (students of law in Filière Spéciale de Droit at RULE since 2017, master of law students in Droit Foncier and Patrimoine program, and students of law in ELBBL Program since 2020, professional students for real estate agents at University of Economics and Finance of the Ministry of Economy and Finance since 2020, and notary students training at RAJP.
In addition to his legal practice as a notary public in legal areas related to real estate, family & succession, banking & finance, and corporate & commercial contracts, he has experience teaching students of law some courses, including Civil Law, Special Contract Law, Banking Law for universities’ students, Land Law-Urbanization & Construction for real estate agents, and Co-ownership-building & Borey for notary students training.
