curriculum
(elbml)

The ELBML Program offers a coursework track and a coursework-thesis track focuses on contemporary legal practice in Cambodia. The curriculum is designed to equip students with: (1) advanced legal knowledge on a range of key legal subjects in Cambodia’s corporate and commercial laws; and (2) practical legal skills through both writing and simulation exercises. Students are required to write an analytical research paper, focusing on a particular legal issue or practice to enhance their critical thinking skills and deepen their understanding of the subject that they wish to specialize in. On the other hand, the coursework-thesis track is a combination of coursework and an intensive research mentorship program, allowing student to conduct in-depth research and produce a high-quality master’s thesis. The coursework-thesis track is ideal for students who wish to work in academia, government entities, non-governmental organizations, and research institutions.
