About the Program

Chevening Scholarships enable outstanding emerging leaders from all over the world to pursue one-year master’s degrees in the UK. Whilst there is no ‘typical’ Chevening Scholar, we are looking for the kind of people who have the passion, ideas, and influence to provide the solutions and leadership needed to create a better future.

To be eligible for a Chevening Scholarship, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Be a citizen of a Chevening-eligible country
  • Have an undergraduate degree
  • Have at least two years of work experience
  • Meet the English language requirement 
  • Demonstrate the potential to rise to a position of leadership and influence
  • Demonstrate the personal, intellectual, and interpersonal attributes reflecting this potential
  • Return to your country of citizenship at the end of the scholarship period.
Some of the required documents for the application include:
  • A valid passport or national ID
  • Degree certificates and transcripts from your university
  • An unconditional offer of admission from a university in the UK
  • English language test scores from IELTS, TOEFL, or Pearson private academic

*Students can opt for International Humanitarian Moot, International Commercial Arbitration Moot or Jessup Moot. The allocation is subjected to first come, first serve basis

Seminar Topics (Subject to Availability)

Each seminar brings in academics, legal practitioners and/or experts in the field to present or provide a guest lecture on a specific topic or issue.
