Adjunct Lecturer: Teaching Intellectual Property Law
Mr. Khieng has been teaching at universities both locally and overseas since 2003. His teaching subjects include Intellectual Property Law, Cyber Law, Insurance Law, International Trade Law, International Investment Law, etc.
His corporate legal work started in 2009, both domestically and abroad. He has been holding senior positions, including Chief Operations and Legal Compliance Officer, Director of Legal Affairs, and Head of Business Legal Support in financial institutions in Cambodia and companies in France. His area of expertise includes banking, insurance, M&A, local and international commercial transaction, e-commerce, corporate governance, AML, labor, tax, real estate, etc.
He received his Master’s degree in Droit des Relations Économiques Internationales Et Communautaires (European and International Economic Relations Law) in 2008 from Université Paris Nanterre and another Master’s degree of law in 2006 from TLBU Graduate School of Law in Seoul. He also holds two bachelor’s degrees, one in law in 2003 from the Royal University of Law and Economics and another in education (TEFL) in 2003 from the Institute of Foreign Languages, Royal University of Phnom Penh. He also earned his Fellow from the Life Management Institute (FLMI) in 2021 and multiple certificates in life insurance business and regulatory compliance (Associate Insurance Regulatory Compliance, Associate in Reinsurance Administration, Associate Customer Service, and Certificate in Underwriting) from the Life Office Management Association (LOMA), USA.
