Thearith is a provincial court judge. Before being admitted to the Royal Academy for Justice of Cambodia in 2016, he worked as an associate at Sok Siphana & Associates. He has experience teaching Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure Law, Civil Law, and Civil Procedure Law.
He obtained his LLM in International Human Rights Law from Lund University, Sweden (2022); LLM in Private Law from the Royal University of Law and Economics (2016); LLB from the English Language Based Bachelor of Law program, Royal University of Law and Economics (2014); and BE.d. in English from Institute of Foreign Languages, Royal University of Phnom Penh (2011).
