Mr. LAY Hongtek

Hongtek is an esteemed lecturer and legal professional with extensive expertise in the fields of law and academia. With a Master’s degree in International Law from Transnational Law and Business University in Seoul, South Korea, and a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the Royal University of Law and Economics.

As a dedicated lecturer at the Royal University of Law and Economics, he has honed his skills in teaching, curriculum development, and research. He is committed to providing his students with a thorough understanding of the complexities of criminal law, and his passion for education is reflected in his approach to instruction.

In addition to his academic achievements, he has a wealth of experience in the legal field. He has been an Attorney-at-Law with Sin & Partners Law Office since 2020 and is an accomplished legal professional who has demonstrated expertise in developing successful strategies to resolve cases in favor of clients. He has consistently found ethical solutions to a range of legal matters and effectively communicates legal options to clients while alerting them to potential outcomes or threats.

Prior to his current position, he gained extensive experience as a Legal Advisor, working with Sin & Partners Law Office and CHAKTOMUK Notary. His practice focuses on a range of legal areas, including banking and finance law, labor law, family law, real estate, and corporate law.

He is dedicated to helping clients and students achieve their legal and academic goals. With his impressive credentials and commitment to excellence, he has become a prominent figure in Cambodia’s legal and academic community.
