Currently, Sokseila is a full member of the Bar Association of the Kingdom of Cambodia and he is also a part-time Programme Officer for the Raoul Wallenberg Institute.
Academically, he holds three Master’s Degrees from three different countries; a Master’s Degree in Law from Transnational Law and Business University (TLBU) in Seoul, South Korea in 2010, a Master’s Degree in Social Science majoring in Human Rights and Democratization from University of Sydney in Australia 2012, and Master Degree of Art in Human Rights and Peace Studies from Mahidol University, Thailand in 2013 (Research) where is also pursuing PhD. degree. At the undergraduate level, he graduated from the National University of Management, majoring in Business Management in 2005, and earned his second Bachelor’s Degree in English Language-Based Bachelor of Law from the Royal University of Law and Economics, in 2008.
Since 2010 until now, Sokseila has been a part-time professor of law at the Royal University of Law and Economics; English Language Based Bachelor of Law Program. He has been teaching various courses including; Civil Code of Cambodia, Business Organization, Family Law, Legal Ethics, Tort Law, International Human Rights Law, and Public International Law.
In addition to his current position, legal practice, and teaching, he has extensive experience since 2004 working for several international organizations in the past as the senior staff and/or advisor/consultant, including, Raoul Wallenberg Institute, UNICEF, East-West Management Institute, International Justice Mission, Child Rights Foundation, and other companies. He is also an active legal and human rights researcher in which his papers are annually presented in various international conferences across the globe.
